Why does everyone hate screamo?!

Okay, just stfu, don't ever call metal screamo, its METAL not screamo, screamo is an insult!. and ya i love metal, i dont see why people hate it, it has everything, and most metal bands have som of the most talented musicians, for example, adam d!. from killswitch engage not only is a great guitarist but has produced over 30 great albums! And how can you have the fast riffs of bands like job for a cowboy!? or the slow pounding ones of emmure, and the bellowing opera voice to the high screams of howard jones (also kilswitch), and the deep to high screams of the black dahlia murder, and the fast technical breakdowns of august burns red, and the mix of clean vocals over screams by as i lay dying!? i just don't see how people don't appreciate any of the talent it takes to do all that, everyone i know is like "i like the instruments, but screaming is so gay" they say "o, i can scream in a metal band cuz its so easy!" well for you people, NO YOU CANNOT!!! So in my opinion, if people found out how hard it is to make metal they would appreciate it more!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm sorry to tell you, but "Screamo" isn't even a certified genre!. It's silly for you to think that a band like Underoath is a "Screamo" band!. Just because they scream doesn't mean you can add the letter "O" and call it "Screamo"!. It's rather insulting!.

Underoath is a Post-Hardcore/Metalcore band, sometimes also a Christian alternative band!. Whatever their claims are, I know they're NOT "SCREAMO"!. Please spread the word to all your friends and people who think "Screamo" is a genre, that these bands DO have specific genre names!.

"Screamo" only exists as a theoretical genre of music!. If you look it up, there are no bands that refer to their music as "Screamo"!.

I have nothing against their music, and I enjoy some post-hardcore bands, but as far as I know, Underoath are just screaming emos, which makes it understandable why people would call them "Screamo"Www@Enter-QA@Com

Every musician puts emotion into the songs that they write, thus making it emotional!. I don't like it because it sounds like they are extremely constipated and have to take a really big crap everytime something comes out of their mouth!.!. like they're in a lot of pain or something!.

im sorry but in response to steve!.!. real life isn't about constantly getting girls in clubs and dancing either!.!.!. i like listening to screamo because it's got so much more energy than any other genre of music!.!.!. and actually writing the music and playing it is way more talented than just singing something that someone else wrote for you!
