The first Operation Mindcrime is one of the greatest concept albums ever!. The second one is probably their best album since Empire!. It is not great, but it is solid!. I would definitely buy it!. You may want to check out some of their early stuff like Rage For Order as well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Mindcrime 2 is a really good album!. But liking 2 after 1 has been out for 20 years, well, you're setting yourself up for immediate dissapointment because they're both completely different albums, even tho some of the characters in both "concept albums/rock operas" are the same, even tho the storylines are completely different, even tho the thread withing both of them has to do with corruption on a grand scale!.
You really can't compare the two!.!.!.you'd have to listen to Mindcrime 2 on its own merit without comparing it to the first one!. I think once you do that, maybe you'll grow to like it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

2 is pretty good, but the first one is absolutely the better of the two!. Might as well buy it, add it to your collection!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
