Does anyone find it paradoxical that....?!

Question: Does anyone find it paradoxical that!.!.!.!.!?
Of the non-Christian music genres, Country singers sing most about God, and yet they sing the most directly about the sin they commit, as well!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
From the first twangs, God and country music have gone together like fiddles and steel guitars!. Hank Williams!. Kitty Wells!. The Carter Family!. The songs were part honky tonk and part hereafter!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

historically , country singers have made open acknowledgement that they believe and trust in God !. They once did some gospel song at the end of their concert or show !. Listen to any of Hank Williams' radio shows !.
these other genres of music generally disregard God , His laws and any acknowledgement of Him at allWww@Enter-QA@Com

Most of the ones of recent country that come to mind don't have horrible sins in them!. Guess it depends on how technical you want to go with sins but I don't see anything harmful with:
George Strait- I saw God today
Carrie underwood- Jesus take the wheel
Point of Grace- How you live (turn up the music)
Taylor Swift- Our song
Andy Griggs-If Heaven
Steve Wariner-Holes in the floor of Heaven
Brooks and Dunn-God must be busy-He's not talking about his sins but how awful the world is!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

With respect to those who answered otherwise, country music has not "always gone together with God"!. Country music is primarily derived from anglo-celtic balladry, particularly broadsides!. Child Ballads and those collected by Cecil Sharp, John Lomax, and others dealt with adultery, murder, rape, incest, you name it!. Jimmie Rodgers sang of mother and home, but he also sang about being a rounder!.

People like Gene Autry, Jimmie Davis (of "You Are My Sunshine" fame) and many others recorded country songs in the 20s, 30s, and 40s that had lyrics that would make many rappers feel right at home!. When Honky Tonk became the predominate style of popular country music in the 40s and 50s, songs about drinking, cheating, and jail were merely a continuation of what was a large part of country music from the beginning!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't particularly find it "paradoxical" that Country Music portrays sinning as a good thing!.

However, I do find a lot of Country Music that deals with the sins of humanity to be realistic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

nope!. makes the music more interesting!. and isn't it more human and realistic too!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The most directly!? Country singers know none of us are perfect!. But I'd say there's plenty of rap and other lyrics that confront sin pretty directly as well and they live it - shootings etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am truly glad, that I am not the judge of ,whether people have sinned or not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah, gimme the good old days when they just sang about their horses & the range/prairie etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No one knows God more than a sinner!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

that is if you believe in sin!.!.!.!.!.loving and living and good hearted women!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
