Vocoder Question?!

Question: Vocoder Question!?
Im looking for a certain vocoder (VSTi-Plugin) out there (For FL Studio), that does not require a carrier to change the pitch/note of the voice!.

What I'm trying to say is, I'm searching for a vocoder that will make my voice sound like an instrument (Robotic) but instead of talking and pressing keys on the keyboard to make the chords/tone of the voice!.
Im trying to find one, that if I make my voice high, the vocoder sound/robotic voice will be high, and if I talk/sing in a low tone, the vocoder will follow in the same tone as my voice!. Without having to use a synth/carrier!.

I hope I explained this well enough!.
Its hard to explain what I'm after!. I hope you understand:P
Sorta like Kobojsarna/Metrox Inc Sound (Perhaps Daddy DJ)
I currently use the Default FL Studio Vocoder!. But I dont want to use the keyboard to change the tones!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
First of all, you have to have a synth/carrier--that's precisely how a vocoder works--the analyzer circuit modulates the carrier circuit!.

If you mean that you don't want to have to "play" the carrier, then you something called a "pitch follower" (or pitchtracker) that analyzes the pitch of your voice and creates a corresponding MIDI note that in turn "plays" the carrier for you!.

I have heard of simple vocoders that have a single input and internal synth voice, but I've never used one so I can't give you a recommendation, unfortunately!.

I'm sorry I can't point you to a specific plug-in, but hopefully a better understanding of what you are expecting it to do will make it easier to search for what you are looking for!.

Best of luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com
