Answers:
If you have a bass amp you can use it to play the guitar!. Just set it to the "Normal" channel!. You won't need a new cord either!. The sound might not be as rich and full!. But it will be okay!.

If you have a guitar amp, keep the volume on the lower end!. You should be fine!. The problem with using a guitar amp with a bass is that guitar amps don't have the overhead in the power amp to produce and drive the low frequencies!. You might get muddy sound!. also, be sure not to push the volume too much or play with the tone too much!. You may end up clipping the power amp!. That will end up frying your speaker!.

If you're just practicing!. You should be fine, if you keep your ears open and turn the volume down if you hear even the slightest distortion!. But if you're going to be doing any serious gigs!.!.!. Don't use this as a permanent solution!. Invest in proper gear as soon as you can!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You do not need a new cord, but i would definately think about getting a new amp!. Bass operates at lower frequencies and can blow you guitar speaker!. You can play through the guitar amp, i just wouldn't turn it up too loud!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I heard that basses blow the guitar amps, but I'm not sure if that's a myth or not!. You don't need a different chord, though!. Bass is awesome!. :] Good luck!Www@Enter-QA@Com
