Singing fear?!
Question: Singing fear!?
i love to sing and i can sing in front of my friends and teachers and random people but i cant sing in front of my family!. i am 13 and i want to win american idol, im gonna audition as soon as i am 16 but if i dont get over my fear of singing in front of my family, my dreams could be rewined!. please help me!.

maybe try recording yourself singing and play that for them first, before you actually sing in front of them!. you don't have to make it into a big deal, instead, you can just start randomly singing in the shower, and ask them after if they heard you and what they thought of your voice!. are you afraid that your family would be more critical of you than your friends and random people, or that their criticism would hurt your feelings more than others' criticism!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
i have the same problem!
when your standing infront of people who you are scared to sing infront of, remember your passion for singing!.!.!.and imagine yourself becoming a singer!.!.only if you sing to this person or audience!.
So basically!.!.imagine its something you have to do to be a singer!. Just remeber your passion for singing!.!.!.it'll be easy once you start singing!.
i was afraid to sing infront of my dad!.!.!.and once!.!.!.i went to a singing class and he was there and i remembered how much i relli wanted to be a singer and eventually sang!.!.!.and wen i did!.!.!.it wasn't so bad after all and i even began to enjoy it because he always told me my voice was great =]
and if your religious!.!.!.just remember god is with you!.!.!.and pretend your singing for god!.!.!.thats wat i do!.

try singing to a few family members at a time , you'll get it, you'll get use to it, i did! i song in front of my whole family before!!!!!. it's not scary! they might sing with you! lol! i would like to hear you sing!Www@Enter-QA@Com
