It all depends on the goals you set for yourself!. If you commit to it, it's not too difficult to learn the basic chords and have the ability to play rhythm guitar to the majority of the stuff on the radio!. If you want to be able to solo and improvise freely, this will take a bit more work!. Learning guitar is a never-ending process though!. Even Jimi talked about how frustrated guitar could make him!. Definitely learn guitar, bass may be a bit easier but it will never be the gratification isn't comparable to that of the guitar!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They are 2 different guitars!.!.!.come in both electric and acoustic!. Easier to play a bass!.!.!.but cannot really play songs with a bass!. Its merely a back-up for drums or to get a beat going!.
