What's more immoral...?!

Question: What's more immoral!.!.!.!?
Illegally downloading an album or shoplifting an album from a large corporate store!.

If you download, the artist and everyone involved with the creation of the album gets cheated!.
If you shoplift, the artist gets credit for a sale and still gets their money, but the store gets cheated!.

If there are no legal consequences and no chance of being caught, which would you be less comfortable doing!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'd Rather Shoplift, At Least You Have The Thing That The Artist Has MADE & Not Some Invisible Thing On An MP3 Player =D
BTW, I'll Be Honest, I've Shoplifted Sh*t-Loads Of Jewelry, It's Just Too Easy =]Www@Enter-QA@Com

Shop lifting, you're cheating a store owner (especially if it's a small shop) out of valuable money he needs to run his business, and it'd have much more of an impact on his business than it would the record companies or the singer!.

I tend to look at it as South Park did in an episode they talked about downloading songs, Britney spears wasn't able to get this super awesome private jet and had to settle for one without a mini bar, or something to that extent, they'll make their money no problem, most of them are rich and famous, and are consumed by greed!.

I'd have less of a problem going through this zone of not hurting anyone, although there are legal ways to listen music though, through official videos on Youtube, other sites host official songs of singers, the only one I can think of is bebo, artists put their songs up in the hopes it'll attract people to buy more of their songs, and consequently line their pockets with more money!.

It's a cruel world how some people are able to push forward whilst others dwindle!.!.!. If I had that much money I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, let alone sing to my hearts content, I'd be happy for people that couldn't afford to buy things that I created to have them for free, but that's just the kind of person I am!.!.!. I'm sure not everyone will agree with my views!.

Shoplifting- I download the odd track if I like one song from an album, but if an album is good I will always buy it rather than download else I feel guilty and don't feel like a can call myself a true fan of theirs!. So i would say their both immoral, but I download quite alot of music and lets put it this way I don't think im going to hell for it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I buy all my albums, unless they're out of print which means the artist no longer makes money off it becuase it's no longer sold then I download, stealing out of a store I consider immoral because someone's job could possibly be in jeopardy!. I wouldn't go as far as saying all downloading is immoral though!. There's hundereds of samples from old hip-hop albums that still haven't been cleared!. Do you think DJ Premier paid the Beatles for the voilyns he used from Elinore Rigby for Code of the streets!?Look at Rza too his first drum machine was stolen, so what's the difference!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

in my,honest, opinion shoplifting is immoral because you stole from somebody downloading illegal music is still bad because somebody is "getting cheated out of their money" but chances are they have made enough of it off ppl who ACTUALLY buy their albums so, Shoplifting is bad
btw i do use a p2p downloading so i know where you are coming fromWww@Enter-QA@Com

with downloads you don't have a hard copy of the songs, and there isn't a security camera watching you on your computer so you feel more comfortable!.!.!. i'll admit i download (old albums, there's *WAY* too many i haven't gotten around to hearing and i dont have that kinda money) but i'll never shoplift from a store, its easier to get caught!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Honestly I use to download but not anymore!. I just think is not kool and I'm grown enough to buy the albums I wanna hear and the artist I wanna support!. I'm not gonna say is wrong or you shouldn't do it, but I won't!. As for stealing, I will never do that, an album is not worth me losing my freedom!. Even if it's for a day!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That's their ploy on DVDs in Australia when you rent them they run through all these things you wouldn't steal like handbags and cars and then try and make you feel guilty by saying downloading is piracy and akin to stealing!.

I think from a shop because somebody already paid for the stock to be in the shop wheras downloading is seemingly anonymous and we are tricked into believing it's harmless!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Awwwww I'm going to hinder Jay-Z from buying a new boat!.!.!.like I give a f'ck I never buy rich people's music they have enough money as it is!. It's immoral when you have countless millions of dollars and over half the world is starving to death!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I would be less comfortable shoplifting because theres people around you!.!.!.

You can downloading something without anybody knowing!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They're both wrong!.!.!.!.unless you are using a sight like itunes where you actually pay for your music!.!.!.!.I pay for the music I download!.!.!.!.I've said it before and I'll say it again!.!.!.karma is a big factor in life!.!.!.what goes around comes around!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Shoplifting is more immoral!.!.!. I never stole an album but I downloaded a lot of albums, if it is really good I will end up buying it!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

depends

if it was a Lil' Wayne CD than shoplifting would be worse

now if it was some one like Nas Shoplifting would still be worse though i would have a thought about it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I download only major lable artist!.!.!.their money is made!.!.!.I only purchase indie musicWww@Enter-QA@Com

technically, using download programs such as limewire isnt illegal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Shoplifting!. Its just wrong!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

shoplifting in my opinion!.!.!. dunno why!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
