How do you think people in the 1950's would react if they heard thrash metal!

Question: How do you think people in the 1950's would react if they heard thrash metal for the first time!?
For example, if Metallica or Slayer somehow travelled back in time to 1950, showed up at a high school battle of the bands concert, and started playing songs off Ride The Lightning or Reign In Blood!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
the adults would call it devil music, and the teens would start to like it because they forbode it!. it would be thought of as a sign of death, which is kind of its intended purpose!. but if they thought jerry lee lewis's music was scary, and setting pianos on fire were bad, they would absolutely freak out at something like taste of chaos or anything like that!. it would be like kiss in the 70's-80's!. parents didn't like it, so the kids did!. the defiance adds a quality that is hard to break away from, too!. it becomes addictive!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Did you ever hear how the radio broadcast of "War of the Worlds" went over in the thirties!? Like that !.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It would sound like a wall of incomprehensible noise to them, just as the jazz of Dizzy Gillespie or Stan Kenton from that period would sound to you!.

I dare you to listen to "Yardbird Suite" by Charlie Parker or "A Night In Tunisia" by Dizzy Gillespie!. You'd be equally confused or put off, shouting "that's not music!" until after a few listenings!. "A Night In Tunisia" is three songs at once!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Awesome!. ha ha ha!. I actually think it would be just way to unfamilar for them to even start to think about it!. If you think about the reaction to Elvis for instance it would be way to far ahead in terms of popular music for them to even consider it as music!. Wonder if they would walk out in outrage or sit there stunned!? ha ha haWww@Enter-QA@Com

:D I've thought of that before!.
I'd like to see that!.!.
But what I'd really like to see is the reaction of people in the 1600's-1800's!.!.
That would be interesting!.

And I think they'd probably think it's just noise!. I'd probably think it was noise too if I hadn't grown up around it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
