Why do some metal fans bash rap?!
Question: Why do some metal fans bash rap!?
Like sometimes i see metal vs rap but instead of reasonable answers all i see is ignorant people bashing rap because what they see on Mtv/BET or other music channels don't get me wrong i like rock and some metal like slayer,megadeth and cob but why do some you do this!? sorry about my grammer but i don't care about how this looks on yahoo answers or youtube!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Ehh the usual argument you'd get from us is that most rap records take very little talent to produce!.
Alot of people like to compare the two genre because they are very different!. This is what you'll often hear (except I'm making the usual replies seem more polite)

I'm a metalhead and I don't like rap - but then again I don't like R'n'B or pop either!. I try to never criticise some else's music taste because I know how frustrating it is when people criticise mine!. And anyway, it's all a matter of personal opinion, just because I don't like a form of music doesn;t make it bad (I think it's bad, but I try not to tell people that because I don't want to offend them)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

3)!. They are obsessed with metal to the point that they simply think rap sucks and uses offensive language!.
Sadly, there are people who listen to stuff like KoRn and Rage Against the Machine who simply bash hip-hop because it's cool!.!.!.!.unaware that both bands were influenced by oldschool hip-hop groups!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I only bash the shite that is played on the radio!. Stuff like Talib Kweli, Black Star, and K'naan is great to me!. But all the mainstream rap is horrible!. It's all about sex, drugs, money, and hoes!.

For the same reasons Rap fans bash Metal fans,country fans bash Rock fans, Emo's bash everyone (God Help Us!)They like their Genre and could care less about any one else's!. And that's ok too be honest, bash away!. Does it really bother you when someone says Tupac sucks!? or what was Soulja boy thinking!? If it does, that's a real shame!. You listen to what you listen to, as do I!.!. I sincerely doubt I will ever lose sleep because another user says something like: Oh how Fall out Boy is so much better then The Rolling Stones for example!.
