WAV Recording Volume Sounds Low?!
Question: WAV Recording Volume Sounds Low!?
i've been recording some of my guitar music and vocals using the default AV Rack software on my PC, why does the finished rec!. volume sound lower than regular songs i!.e!. CDs, mp3s etc!.!?
is it because my recording technique is low tech!?

It could be that the signal you're feeding into your computer is lower than the signal you're expecting!. Even if 3!.5mm jack or phono cables look like they fit, sometimes they carry signals at different intensities!.
also, bear in mind that your recording is not mastered- CDs that you can buy have been professionally mastered so that they are as loud as they can possibly be without distorting!. So you'll never get it quite that loud without professional mastering help!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
