Question: Jimi Hendrix - "Purple Haze" was released 1966-1967?!??!?
At the same time, in S!.F!., a new recreational pharmaceutical with the same nickname is released!. Name the famous chemist who produced it, what was it's alternate official name (3 letter acronym) and how long was the trip [in days] (besides "too long")!? My research shows that the song was released first, but I can only believe that he did the trip first!. What do you all think!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Hold on, I believe I have some recollection of that moment!. Well Jimi must have been experienced to write that classic, so I say, he tripped, then wrote the song!. It's all coming back to me now!.

It was the infamous STP, a combination of LSD and some kind of meth!. In those days, we had good meth, pharmaceutical grade, not the crap they make now!. Three day trip - it WAS waaayyyy too long, had to get all my teeth resurfaced after!. Had about 50 orgasms in 3 days!. WOW!

Stanley Owsley was the chemist (Purple Owsley was the Cadillac of the era) and they gave it away!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

LSD~~~~~~D-Lysergic acid Diethylamide-25

Albert Hoffman produced it I believe in 1946 in switzerland

There were dozen of names for street LSD back in the sixties,I really dont know if the song was named expressly about a certain type of street acid called purple haze or whether Jimi just made it up!.

I have heard of purple micro dot which is a teeny tiny LSD pill, maybe Jimi took that and it took him into a bummer, dunno!.!.!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
