Tuning to get that Bonham sound?!
Question: Tuning to get that Bonham sound!?
Hey guys,
I want to tune my drums to get as close as I can to John Bonham's sound!. I have your average 5 piece setup, 14" snare, 12" and 13" toms 16" floor tom and 22" bass!.
Should I tune them to specific notes!? Any help would be appreciated thanks =)

Answers:
You're going to need bigger drums! A 26" kick drum if possible!.
With what you've got, tune both kick heads to equal tension!. Quite slack!. Use Remo Powerstroke 3 heads!.
The famous Bonham sound is also down to the microphone placements on the kit and the quality of the Vistalite kits he used!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
