How do you get better?!

Question: How do you get better!?

At singing!? Like the 'rock' voice, kinda like how david cook is, I have kind of a deeper voice, or a little deeper then just normal i guess, but when I sing like that it sounds really breathy, or watever, how can I get better!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
