I've heard some reviewers say, and I've often wondered what would have happened to the reputation of Metallica during the 90s if they had made a 10-12 song album out of the songs off Load and Re-Load!.
For anyone who thinks along these lines, this question is for you!.
WHat songs would you pick for a single album from those two albums!?

I don't think it would have helped their reputation any, the albums just aren't very good and are an extreme departure from being true Metallica!. Despite the bad production, St!. Anger was a lot heavier than Load/Re-Load and I like a lot more songs from that album!. Anyway, my load/re-load combo would be!.!.!.

As I answered in similar question, there is no way I could pick 10-12 favorites from those 2 albums!. To me that wasn't really Metallica, just 4 guys calling themselves Metallica!. Both albums were such a dissappointment!. Load and re-Load make the "black album" sound like the greatest thing since sliced bread!.

Metallica existed until the Black album!. After this they starting to sing just for money!
