Question: What are some good melodic black metal bands!?!?!?
Well, I'm fairly new to all this extreme metal thingy!. Been listening to it only a few months and so far, the black metal bands I like are Windir, Dissection, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Graveworm, Equilibrium, Lord Belial, etc!.!.!. What are some other good groups!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Dimmu Borgir!? Apart from them being Symphonic Black Metal, they sold out - They're just Symphonic extreme metal!.

now I know these guys were mentioned, but first off these are REAL melodic Black metal bands!. (The other bands mentioned were just a mixture ov bullshit)
Dawn - Dawn really started off as a Death metal band (their demos) but if anything, you'll run into their black metal days!. Their albums are out ov print, but if anything (if you ever find it) you should check out their last album called Slaughtersun!. They're coming out with a new album called "The Fourfold Furnace" so if you remember, maybe you can check that out
Lord Belial - Don't make a mistake with Lord Belial!. They're Melodic Black Metal NOW!. Before they started off as a faster paced black metal band and if you like melodic black metal, their earlier work may come in distasteful!. You should check out their best Melodic Black Metal album called "Nocturnal Beast"!.
Dissection - Dissection came out with an album not too long ago called "Reinkaos"!. You may see this in stores, but this is Melodic DEATH Metal!. Don't be fooled!. If anything, you should check out their album "The Somberlain"!. Dissection is no longer active (as the Frontman killed himself)
Covenant - Now called The Kovenant's a good band!. When they did change their name to "The Kovenant" they became sucky (lol)!. if anything, you should check out their album Nexus Polaris!. Nexus Polaris is a very good album, but it has a "space" feeling (really, like outer-space) so be prepared for that!.
Rotting Christ - Their more Melodic Now, but they've lost a bit ov their sound!. Their work now doesn't compare to their earlier work!. If anything, you should check out their much better album "Non Serviam"!. but ov their later works, check out "Sanctus Diavolos"!. A bit more melodic than Non Serviam and much better than their last album "Theogonia"
Windir - Windir's another good band!. Disbanded when their vocalist, Valfar, was killed!. There isn't an album ov theirs that I WOULDN'T reccomend you, but their best was Arntor!. No english songs, but the music really takes you in!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
