I am of the generation who can remember Bowie and Ferry!. I was a big, huge, gigantic Roxy fan!. I also liked Bowie and his "different" lyrics and music!. As the years went by and different influences played a part in each artistes repertoire I found David Bowie to be a much more progressive artist!. I didn't go to see the last Roxy concert in Glasgow because Bryan Ferry is more of a cabaret artist whilst Bowie likes to experiment with sound and music, even if he's done nothing for a while!. His older music still stands up (Ziggy Stardust, Alladin Sane, etc ) while Mr Ferry is middle aged party music!.

Bowie can really sing!. He plays multiple instruments, writes all the songs, produces his records, conceives and executes his dramatic stage shows!. He's a true artist, absolutely brilliant!.

Bowie - I have been a fan since I was 13 (and that's a while ago, I can tell you) - saw him live once, he was amazing!. I used to like Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music too, but David Bowie wins hands down for me due to the diversity of his music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
