It's defenetly a classic!. Rakim moved into the more modern light of hip hop and still managed to stick to this orginial style!. I listened to every track off of that album and didn't need to skip anyway!. Great album imo!. But having said that, the production will never match how well him and Eric B!. were able to gel together!. 8/10, a must have for a hip hop lover!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Good question!. I buy!. I'd give it 4!.5 (out of 5) stars!.
When it dropped we hadn't heard anything from Rakim for four years and the landscape of hip hop had changed dramatically (in that period between, for example, Biggie debuted, reached superstardom, then died)!. I'm not sure exactly what people were expecting with this album but what we got was the return of an emcee with flawless flow and impeccable lyrical ability!. Yeah, I call it a classic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not a classic!. As of last week I no longer refer to albums that don't have perfect ratings as classics!. I give it 4!.5 stars!. Lyrically it was on-point but the production wasn't classic material!. Some of the beats were classic material, but the majority were just good!. And that track "Stay a While"!.!.!.possibly the worst Rakim track ever, definitely bottom 3!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
