Rick Rubin shoud be great for Metallica like he has been for Beastie boys, Slayer, RHCP etc!. He allows the bands to find their own sound again after they have kinda lost it!. Metallica will do great as long as they are on the road making money and rockin out all over the world!. I am looking forward to their new album but it should have been done already- sometimes too long in the studio for a band is not good- they end up getting too refined a sound and need to sound more raw- but then again that is what playing live is for!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I am definitely anticipating the new album!. If you go to missionmetallica!.com and check out the footage, you can get a sneak peak!. I know the guy who shot all of that footage, and from what he has told me the album is gonna be good, and nothing like St!. Anger!. I like the fact that they brought in Rick Rubin to produce the album!. I didn't like about 3/4 of what Metallica did with Bob Rock!. There are rumors floating around that this album will be the missing link between And Justice!.!.!. and The Black Album!. Idk, from the little bit that I've heard, it sounds like a pretty good album, a return to a little more of their old school sound!. The album is supposed to come out in September!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are sneak peek previews of demos and riffs from the upcoming album, and it sounds VERY promising!. Metallica went through a lot of sh*t that no band should have to go through, but they prevailed and pulled through!. They have learnt from their mistakes and are going to release an album that will hopefully shut all you ignorant naysayers up and make you choke on your humble pie!.
I for one still have faith in Metallica and I'm with them till the end!. Don't give up on them yet, they just might pull it off and rekindle the flame of their glory days!. It will happen!. Just wait and see!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The stuff I've heard so far sounds pretty good and that makes me very excited!. The video clips they have up look like they're having a good time making it!. Rick Rubin is getting them back to their Kill/Ride days!.
As for a comeback, I don't think they ever left, people just wrote them off!. Anyone that says Met is a bunch of hasbeens will enjoy the new album just as much as the rest of us when it comes out!.
