Question: I really want to be a singer but where do i go!?
I really want to become a sing but i live in a town that has less then 3,000 people in it!. plus its in paris IL!. I am real good but i dont know where to go!Www@Enter-QA@Com

You are going to have to take projects outside of your town eventually!. Until then, sing at your local school or church group!. Look in the paper for any singing opportunities they have to get your feet wet in your small town!. You never know who is listening and could get you to the next level!.
In the meantime, find the nearest town to you that is more urban, and find a professional recording studio to record a demo for you!. also, get a professional headshot made!. Get a paper from that same town where more is going on, and audition for any openings they have for singers!. You need to have a budget for traveling, because in order to be a singer, expect to travel for performances and auditions!. This is your only means of networking!. also, don't forget websites online, but be careful to avoid scams that only want to take your money!.
also, consider voice lessons!. A voice teacher can not only groom your vocally, but they can send your referrals or to those places to get your career going!. That is a connection you might need to get ahead!. also, remember much of your competition will be ahead of the game this way!. You want to be on the same level with them!.
Have some tolerance and patience!. It is not an easy business to conquer!. Your feelings will be hurt often, and you might feel torn down on many occasions!.
