Should i continue to work with this guy or not (musician question)?!

Question: Should i continue to work with this guy or not (musician question)!?
he let me work in his studio
i met him through church when i stopped
going to church he would bother me about it!.
he's never on time when our sessions are
at 10 am he's always a few minutes late with
no explanations he acts like it's nothing!.
i don't think he's sincere about the music we make at all!.
what really bothers me is that once he told me he was moving
and closing up shop and this totally destroyed me worried where am i gonna record and what about your other clients
one minute he's moving and than the next he's not!. One day i walk in for our session and i hear him talking with his partner
about me doesn't use my name his partner just refered to me as "the metalhead"!. he's had a record label with his partner
in business but it fell through!. I ask him to call me by my stage name cause i want to break it in i think he treats the whole thing like some kind of joke one day he calls me by my stagename and the next my other name!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You know this is a tough question to answer because I don't know anything about you and I only know the little you listed about him!.

I can say this: you certainly don't sound happy working with him!. If you feel belittled by the way he speaks to or of you, you don't believe he likes or is committed to making your music, and he is as flakey as he sounds, I'd say you should move on and not look back!.

The music business is rough!. People are in it with very personal motivations and it can take lots of time to find the right crew to make music, a band, a record with!. This sounded like a convenient hook-up- at church and all- but if it hasn't worked out, realize that sooner rather than later and cut your losses short!.

You may be thinking, what about the music I'm going to record, what will happen to that!? Well you may never get the recordings you want from this guy!. Compared to all the mental anguish your association has put you through and all the tough times that appear to be ahead, you would probably do yourself a favor parting ways!. There's no need to become hostile to him, list all the ways he's messed up or anything like that!. Just thank him for his time and interest and let him know you've decided to move on!.

You never know who you'll meet next!. And you can try doing some recording of your own!. Get an 8 track and a couple mics, or go into your computer!. There are lots of not too expensive recording options these days!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

in the music buisness you have to put up with it!. i know it may be annyoing and nerve wereking, but just get to the point where you needed to do what you do then move on to another big thing once the opppertunity is open to you!. you digg!?!? lolWww@Enter-QA@Com

i wouldnt keep working with him!. he might be in to steal your ideas, if he is acting like he doesnt care!. good luck! i know how you feel, i havnt been able to find somebody good to work with!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If hes not reliable, dont work with him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
