Growing up, my dad always had headphones for the stereo, and to this day, I am still amazed at the difference compared with not using them!. Ever since I moved away from home, I've always owned a pair!. I love the clarity, hearing the sound of pick on string on acoustic stuff, and all the things that you would never notice just listening while doing sh*t around the house with the stereo on!. My dad was / is a "top of the line" type guy where such things are concerned, but they don't have to be Bose, etc!.!. My most recent new pair was $20 Sony's from Wal-Mart and they are fine!. Everything sounds better, but to pick one album to use headphones, I don't have to think twice: Dark Side of the Moon!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Man I totally get you!.!.!.!.!. all music sounds better through headphones, since all the elements of the sound are focused into such a small space, which goes directly into your ears, instead of it dissolving into the air out of speakers, where the sound is watered down before it gets to your ears!.
Of course, you need good quality headphones to get the maximum effect!. Mine are brilliant!.!.!. compact, fit snugly on my head, and kick out tremendous sound quality with rich, deep bass and crystal clear treble!. The louder the better!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah I agree, stereos just blast the music at you where as headphones you can hear the effects clearer!.But a good pair of headphones helps too, once I paid for ear buds the wrong size and they didn't stay in!. Needless to say the annoyance destroyed my listening pleasure!. Beatles re masted sounds way better with GOOD headphones!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
But of course, a great pair of headphones, especially those huge ones, [or, a blasting pair of speakers complete with gigantic bass booster] probably make all music more enjoyable!.

Yes!!!!!, the pair of headphones that came with the cd player i am unfortunately stuck with, broke so, I used the pair that came with my first cd player and they make Motley Crue's "Dr!.
