That in a nutshell is why I never listen to critics!. Nobody, and I mean nobody, likes exactly the same things!. All a critic can do is describe the sound of an album and give their own opinions, and form a recommendation based on that opinion!. I'm yet to find a critic that shares similar tastes to me, and for that reason I simply ignore them, whatever they say!. If they say it's good, I'll check it out!. If they say it sucks, I'm still going to check it out so I can judge it for myself!.

lol I remember listening to the album "Subterranean" by In Flames
It was the first time I had ever heard melodic death metal!.
I kept thinking to myself, this band will never last, this music will never last!.
A couple of years later, I pick up another In Flames album, "The Jester Race" and At the Gates' "Slaughter of the Soul" and fall in love with In Flames, At The Gates, and melo-death music!.
