Question: Illmatic and the RHH Regs!?
Why does it seem like Illmatic is more widely considered the GOAT album among people in their teens in this section than among the older regs that probably heard the album when it was new!. I've rarely seen a reg in their 20s or older that considers it the GOAT album, but probably close to 50% of the younger regs think it's the GOAT album!. It really doesn't make sense!. Shouldn't it be the other way around!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think you also gotta add this!. Some of the users lie!. Some just go along with what everybody is saying so they will fit in!. Personally, 50's GRODT is the GOAT album!.

It's about proportional relative to year of original release date, although I would argue that you rnumbers are off!.
I'm sure a good portion of those people over 20 would argue on behalf of an album made before 1992 to be the GOAT album, while those people under 20 would argue on behalf of an album made after 1992!.
Illmatic is my favorite album, and I consider It Takes A Nation of Millions to be the GOAT album, so I'm an exception!.

It's only because this section is comprised of mostly teens and very young adults (18-21)!. There are older heads on here, over 25 and some over 30, but we work and stuff, so we're not on here as much!. But for the record, I am almost 30 and Illmatic is without a doubt the GOAT album of all time and I'm sure most ppl my age would agree!. Illmatic is the single best example of what a Hip Hop album should be!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm almost 30 and I consider it to be a great album!. I prefer music made prior to 92, or at the very least music by artists that were introduced prior to 92 before I consider someone legendary!.

i'd say one main reason is because of the relevance of the artist (to todays listeners) behind the album, compared to that of some of his counterparts from that time period

Illmatic was released in 1990, and most of the teens are more familiar with the 90's flow than the 80's flow; therefore they have an album that is an undisputed classic that they can understand!. myself included!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Illmatic was a great album!. I wouldn't consider it the best!. IMO "Muddy Waters" by Redman was!.!.!.but who am I!.

im 19 and ive never held illmatic to the high standards others have i thought was a really good album but i never thought it was as great as everyone let it on to be its deffintley in my top 10 but for me my number one has always be 36 chambersWww@Enter-QA@Com
