whats that "black" soul maybe gospel music that is always in slave movies that they sing to (like in the movie Roots) I dont know how to describe it and im not racist whatsoever im just trying to describe it!. Its not always happy and upbeat sometimes its sad but its like a choir or something sings it!?!? I dont know anything helps! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

First, it should be noted I'm not black, so that may make me unqualified to answer, but historically speaking, I may have the answer!. When slaves were brought over to the new world, many were introduced to Christianity, and learned or even wrote hymns!. Some of these had more of an African flavor, and this eventually transformed into the Blues!. This may be a very loose version of how it went, but I'm pretty sure this is close!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
