How do you execute a perfect rock scream?!
Question: How do you execute a perfect rock scream!?
I might be getting ahead of myself (because I haven't even started learning how to play acoustic guitar yet) but I wanted to form a rock-metal band with my friends throughout high school!.
Q1: how long does it take to learn how play acoustic guitar, and after that, how long does it take to play electric!?
Q2: I have a pretty rough/raspy voice for a girl (I'm used to using it for soul/r&b), and I've heard it was easier if you have that voice type!. How do you do it!?

now playing acoustic guitar is harder to learn than playing electric, but i would advise playing acoustic guitar first because it will make playing an electric a piece of piss!. how long!? well it never ends you cant "complete" guitar but it will take a few years of good practice before you can do anything really!.
and i love a rough/raspy voice!. don't ruin it!. please!!!! don't bother with screaming!. if you need to use it in moderation to suit the mood of the song and lyrics when it builds up to a its peak!. i think Thom yorke uses his scream perfect, he hardly ever uses it, only in a few songs when it actually fits!.

Learn electric guitar no need for the Acoustic, get lessons of a proper teacher don't try and teach yourself, then get singing lessons and depending on what particlar type of 'rock' music you want depends on how your voice should sound!.
There is no perfect way of sounding rockish, and if your mean screamo don't bother you will severly damage your vocal chords unless you know what your doing, you will need training!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
