Bow Wow has been cast as Charlie, a new stand-up comic client of E!.
Bow Wow tells the Reporter that he's going to focus on acting full time because wants to be like Will Smith!. He says, "After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I've decided to shift my energy to something else I'm passionate about, acting!. I'm going to be the next Will Smith!."

IF he takes a year off and fals out of the public and then pops up in movies by his real name and not "Bow Wow" so then people dont have THAT much of a memory of "Lil Bow Wow" then thatll be a start!. Not to mention he probably needs to do some serious acting lesson!. Will Smith was a natural, you can see it in his music videos from the 80s that he had the natural charisma for the camera, in his early music videos hewas just like his character in Bel Air!. People can diss Bow Wow because he was more mainstream than a rapper but the guy made mad paper!!! And now he's at least moving onto something where he'll probably make even more mad loot!. I think it's nice that he wants to be the "next Will Smith" and I think Will Smith should be proud of himself as an African American and all the accomplishments he has made!!!!
