i adore all classic rock from the 70's and 80's, but as soon as it got to late 90's and in to the 21century most of the good music seemed to die out with it!. bands such as bon jovi and def leopard keep going but the new rock just doesn't seem to have the brilliance of the classic stuff!. but thats not to say that theres not good stuff out there!. i love: Him, paramore,30 seconds to mars and especially my chemical romance!. i really hate it in school everyone thinks they know rock music, when really all they know is a song with some drums in it!. people seem to have forgotten how to define rock music and also seem to have forgotten all the good music that came before them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I didn't grow up in the late 80's or early 90's but most of the music I listen to is from that era, but in saying that allot of theses bands or at least a lot of their good albums never really made it onto the charts (master of puppets and The Holy bible didn't get chart success) But a few good bands do still survive such as Biffy Clyro, Band of horses, fightstar, and wolfmother do survive under the commercial radar!.Unlike many of the other new bands such as Fall out boy and MCRWww@Enter-QA@Com
Damn, XxPepper is right!. Fall out Boy and other bands with truly imbecile names (Arctic Monkeys) have equivalently humorless and shallow music,but there are bands like The Raconteurs and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Unwritten Law,etc!., that keep the right fires burning!. After all,so much of the '80s/'90s rock proved itself to be fake and purely a commercial fad - U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Axl Rose!.!.!. so today is not very different, all in all!. Bands in the charts were always cheap candy, the good stuff was always off the charts!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Most of the music now whether its 'Rock' or 'Not' is sh*t, to find great bands you really have to look hard, most of the mainstream stuff is just cringe worthy, bands like MCR, AVENGE SEVENFOLD etc, they all sound the same, theres nothing unique about most of the bands today!.!.!.having said that 'Pearl Jam' are still going strong I love them, and probably some other bands!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Most of the bands I like are from the 1990's or before!.!.!.I can't think of a great deal of bands today that I likeWww@Enter-QA@Com

i cant stand todays music!. i miss the 80's early 90's days when songs where about good times,partying,girls, and had great guitars in the songs!.!.todays music is to corporate for me!.

i love some rock bands from the 2000's they really proved themselves to be worthy of rock!.!.but it pees me off when bands like fall out boy!.!.panic whatever gets classed as "rock"Www@Enter-QA@Com
