I think that anyone who can hit the notes that Carrie Underwood can make it to can sing!. Is she country!? Not by my standards, but her music is good and that's why people listen to her!. I agree with you on the point that Taylor Swift can't sing, but she has some well written and relatable songs!. In my opinion, the most "country" female singer out right now is Miranda Lambert!. Most of what is released as a single sounds more mainstream than most of the other tracks on her album!. I think that they can actually sing!. If Carrie Underwood can't sing, how come she won American Idol!? That's a singing competition!. They are country however!. Just not the type of country you're thinking of!. They are Modern country!. Sure, they may not be remembered for singing like Patsy Cline is!. Yes, I would have to agree that Miranda Lambert is one of the more "country" girls!. But, I think everyone should just leave them alone!. Think about it!. Taylor's a teenager!. Every hateful comment hurts her like it would a normal teenager!.

I like Carrie's voice but I don't like any of her songs! I don't really like Taylor either-I don't think she sings that well-not that I can do any better, that's just my opinion!. My favorite female country singer is Miranda Lambert-her stuff is a lot less pop-ish and I think she has a pretty solid voice-I saw her perform 2 years ago and she did wonderful and I can only assume she's gotten better over the past couple of years!. it takes shows like American Idol and Nashville Star for some people to get the break they need and DESERVE!. My cousin is in Carrie's band and she is a great singer and has no limitations!. She can take any song and make it her own!. For instance, "I Told You So" by Randy Travis that is on her new album!. She grew up in Checota OK!.!.!.if that's not country I don't know what is!. Being "country" is not clothes and instruments, its a way of life!. Carrie and Taylor have both said they have no interest in cross-over music!.!.!.however, if a radio station chooses to put their music on a "pop" station, it only increases their publicity!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
