I love Dimebag because he's just awesome!. IMO, he was the best guitarist ever!. He played fast and heavy and was with the best Heavy metal around!. I really like his style and as a guitarist I look up to him!.

Dimebag Darrell simply because i think he is the better guitar player!. He's the most skillful and i like his style better!. It was heavy!. And he could come up with the simplist riff and still make one of the heaviest riffs in metal!. (im talking about Walk of course) But he could also do kicka** guitar solo's!. And I just think the whole band was perfect!. Dimebag's guitar playing and Phil's vocals!.!.!. were just perfect together!. Dimebag Darrell is my favorite guitarist and he's the one who inspired me to start playing guitar!.

you can't answer a question like that! They're two TOTALLY different styles in two TOTALLY different genres of music! They both use different techniques!. It's impossible to compare something like that, if you want to compare dimebag to some one, make it zakk wylde or someone like that!. and if you want to compare slash, make it like randy rhoads or something!. They have to be remotely close to compare and dimebag and slash are to different!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think they are different!.!.!.!. bus as a guitarist i would say slash!. Dont get me wrong im much more of a pantera fan then i am a guns and roses fan but slash is really good at bending which is much harder to be good at then being fast!. Anyone can be fast with a lot of practice, be good at bending is natural!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Dimebag hands down!. He played metal with a sense of rhythm that has yet to matched!. That and his tone and his skillful use of the Whammy II pedal!.
But seriously , it was his rhythm that made him great!. You won't find a lot of guitar players who appreciate that fact either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Dimebag because he was cutting edge while slash just rehashed what others had done!. Dimebag was the only guitarist in the band and had to play lead and rhythm parts in each and every song!. He was a better all around guitarist!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
his last day, was my 14th birthday!.!.!. but I'm not really familiar with him!.!.!. slash is just no good and has the skill of a 6 year old!.!.!. just horrible!. He doesn't even like the music they play, I have no respect for him as a guitarist, so I'll say!.!.!.!.!.
