Singing high notes quieter?!

Question: Singing high notes quieter!?
I have greatly improved my singing voice!. It is full of body; it used to be airy and I could do nothing with it!. However, when I sing high notes (I'm a 1st soprano), they are always louder than the "regular" notes!. Is there any way I could make them quieter!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just letting them go helps!. That way you're not unconsciously 'forcing' the sound, and the note will come out clearer and more natural!. However, singing high notes quietly is one of the hardest things to do, and it's one of the most advanced techniques!. You actually need more air control and energy when you're trying to sing high and soft than high and loud!. It's finding the delicate balance between singing high notes soft and full, and soft and weak!. You want them to be soft and full!.

My teacher just started me on 'decrescendo' exercises in my middle register, and it's hard enough!. I've to make sure that I don't end up singing half-voice (i!.e!. 'from the throat') when getting softer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Probably not!. Women, too, have their version of a falcetto!. When hitting the highest notes you are having to work harder although it may not feel that way!.

More training can help control it to make your changing from your body voice to head voice come more fluidly!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its natural for them to be louder because high pitches carry more

when you sing them try not to force them- just let them go

also sucking your butt in makes you sing high longer (dont believe me- try it!)
