Yeah, definitely - I mean, not all pop music is Britney Spears or Hannah Montana!.
I absolutely love songs such by Alanis Morissette, Amy Grant, Anna Nalick, Delta Goodrem, Dido, Madonna, Morcheeba, Sarah McLachlan, Sixpence None The Richer, and Whitney Houston!. The list goes on and on!.

The definition of pop is unclear these days!. Most people beleive it's your Rihanna and Britney Spears and American Idols!.!.!.some will place down Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and My Chemical Romance as pop!.!.!.and some extremists will go to lengths and put stuff like New Metallica, System of a Down, and KoRn as pop mainly as an insult!.
There's also such "indie" pop like Death Cab for Cutie (new album out by the way) and The New Pornographers, but it's not "mainstream pop"!.
I guess it depends on your definition on pop, but let me tell you one thing though!.!.!.Soulja Boy is terrible!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

80's pop started the fluffy useless stuff we hear on radio today!.
I wish people would listen to the music on their own and make up their own minds instead of having their school chums pick it for them!. My 9-year old loves Led Zeppelin, Papa Roach and Kenny Wayne Shepherd!. My 6-year-old daughter likes Earth, Wind and Fire and Three Days Grace's new album!. Pop refers to popular, which means that it is accessible to a lot of different people!.
