Question: How would a saxaphonist go about playing with piano music!?
I have some piano music in the key of C major and would love to have my friend play with me!. However, she has an alto sax, which is in B-flat!. So how would or could she play with my music!? Do you need to transpose somehow!?

Well if she's actually playing an Alto Sax it is in Eb, if she's in Bb that would be a Tenor sax!.
She will need to transpose regardless!. If she's playing the Alto she will need to play 4 note higher, her G# will be the piano C!.
On the other hand if she is playing a Bb Tenor, she just needs to take the note up 1 whole step Bb = CWww@Enter-QA@Com

Start at a piano store, ask the employees there, then secondly, compare the sheet music at your local libraryWww@Enter-QA@Com
