Thank you for spotting something out which has pissed me off for a while now!. Personally I think the whole concept of being a sellout is bullshit!. People say that a sellout is somebody who does music for money and does not care anymore about the music!.!.!.how the phuck do they know if the artist still likes the music or not!?!?!? That's like saying if you change jobs to get more money you're a sellout! which is completely bullshit!. The soccer player Cristiana Ronaldo might be moving to Real Madrid from Manchester United because they are offering him ￡250,000 a week ($500,000 a week), imo that is a sellout because he is moving just for the money alone!. People need to shut da phuck about "sellout this and sellout that" because if they had come from nothing and had a chance to make millions of dollars they would do it too! People just hate 50 because he is one of the most successful people in hip hop and has loads of business ventures!. Well, honestly!.!.!. When talking about rappers people hardly ever mention female rappers!. They just aren't really relevant in most conversations!. Why not just compare a bunch of male artists when you only have a few females to choose from!.
But, i've never really looked at it as selling out per se!.!.!. On anyones part!.
EDIT: Jeez, I didn't know people were considered sellouts just because they move away from where they were raised!. Hell if I was living in a bad neighborhood then came into some money, I would move far away and into a mansion if my money was willing for me to do so!.
