Question: SM57 on Acoustic Guitar!?
Has anyone ever tried mic an acoustic guitar using XY with 2 SM57's!?

sm 57s are uni directional mics and using two together will definately cause some phase cancellation problems!. You are better off just using one!. However, might I suggest using a good condenser mic which are much better for micing acoustic instruments!. If this is a live performance application you will be much better off using a sound hole pickup because it can be amplified much louder without feed back!.
For recording go with the condenser or a ribbon mic for optimum sound quality ( the 57 is a great mic for vocals or amps but not so great for acoustic guitars)Www@Enter-QA@Com
