what are some of your favorite piecesWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Sounds like you're a newbie from the pieces you listened to!. Seasoned classical musicians/music lovers move past these quickly because of their popularity but I'm glad they exist if only to pull people into the genre!. I'm glad you like them and I hope you continue to explore the music!. :) Here's a list I've been compiling for answering on here!. It's sort of biased because I'm a cellist but hopefully you will enjoy at least a few things and it will give you a spring board for more exploration!.

If you included Fur Eilse, Pachabel's Canon, Claire De Lune and The Four Seasons you would have the entirely of most over played pieces (odd the catchiest and most famous tune in all of classical music is Handel's Messiah, the Halleujah Chorus yet it's never mentioned)!. My favorite pieces are Stravinsky's Symphony of the Psalms, Berg's Violin Concerto, Beethoven's Egmont and his 12th 4th and 16th String Quartets and a number of Piano Sonatas, John Adam's Violin Concerto, Josquin's Ave Maria, Shostakovich's 5th and 10th Symphonies and 14th String Quartet, Bartok's Music for Strings Percussion and Celesta, Handel's Sinfonia (he wrote one symphony and it's amazing, I always forget about it), Domenico Scarlatti (can't pick one), Webern Opus 10 (don't listen to it), and that's to name a few!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've already sort of moved on from all those "classics of the classics", but still I like all the small piano pieces by Chopin, some Mozart and so on! My favourite pieces include Gregorio Allegri's Miserere, Albinoni's Adagio in G, Rachmaninov's Vocalise & All-Night Vigil as well as music by Silvius Leopold Weiss, Marin Marais (I love the sound of the viola da gamba, recorders, theorbo, lute and violone/Baroque violin, both on their own and together!!), Nicola Matteis and things like that!Www@Enter-QA@Com
