I hate to break it to ya, but there are a few problems with a sax player being in this band!.!.!.

You need to either not be in the band or find more wind instruments (like trumpet, trombone, etc!.) to be more ska-like!. Just a sax is going to be awkward!. The only way for it not to sound sucky is for you to be really good!. Like, really really good!.!.!.not just "I play in my high school band"!. That's more along the lines of some of the Pink Floyd songs, but you need really good equipment and you basically have to be a professional player!.

I've heard some local bands that have some wind instruments with guitars!.!.!.and it's really hard to sound good, no matter how good the players are, on an amateur stage!. So basically, as is you might not sound the best!.!.!.

Oh also, the only 2 genres I can really think of off the top of my head would be ska or jazz!. But really, it's not easy to sound good unless you're more of a professional!.

But hey, go for it anyway if you are passionate about this!. If you don't sound good now, just practice a lot!. The best thing to do would be to find bands that do have a sax in them and listen to them!.!.!. Find what you like and dislike about it and go from there!. Invent your own genre if you have to!. Good luck!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
