ok so i got my new electric guitar but it sounds ******* awful!! and arent guitars meant to have at least 22 frets and not say johnson on the head!!? plz help! what is the best guitar for about 200pounds!? btw iv just started playing and i played some chords i saw on youtube but it sounds shyte compared to the vid im a beginner and would like some advice on the best from the best please!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

1!. must be in tune 2!. must chord properly for proper sound 3!. beginners think playing is easier than it actually is when ur starting out, it takes HOURS of practice for even the simple stuffWww@Enter-QA@Com
get an acoustic!. if you learn on acoustic, you wont be distracted with distortion and effects!. the only thing that you need to be worrying about now is the sound that the guitar makes, not the sounds the pedal or the distorted amp makes!.
and get a chord book, sit down and play some chords!. start with major open chords (open A, open G, open D, open C, etc)!. double check them on youtube to make sure they sound right, if they dont sound right, make em sound right!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Pick up an Beginning guitar book!. You'll learn a lot more than what you would from free YouTube videos!. Learning the guitar takes a lot of time and practice, you can't just pick it up and be ready to start a band in 6 months!. I have been playing for closing in on 2 years and still aren't very good!. I can play some simple easy songs, but learning the basics takes a lot of hard work and practice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If you're just starting to learn the guitar it doesn't matter much if it's a crappy guitar!. Well, for me personally I learned to play on a piece of ****!. You might lose interest in learning to play in a few months so dont spend too much money!. You can learn to play on an acoustic if you want!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I have found Ibanez to be great starter guitars!. If you can afford one with dual humbuckers it will provide the greatest flexibility in creating different sounds!. You may also need a foot pedal to get the sound you are looking for!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
