Question: Is Emo and Post Hardcore the same genre!?!?
people!.!. ive been doin a lotta research on this !. but wat do u guys think!? is emo and post hardcore the same genre!. well!. i guess emo has a more indie feel to it rather than the more aggressive post hardcore feel!. Enlighten me!.!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Post-hardcore incorporates more metal-style guitar riffs and a lot of double bass on the drums!. There's much more screaming too!. Emo, on the other hand, has more of an indie sound!. A lot of emo style bands are acoustic!. Some have a little screaming, but not a lot!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
emo is usually softer!. bands that are similar to pop punk, but not "pop" enough!. for example taking back sunday is pop punk, but mineral is emo!. post hardcore is a lot harder to define, but i would say it is definitely heavier than emo!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
