Do u remember the lyric?!

Question: Do u remember the lyric!?
I love the lyric, cos it is far likeable than any other Lennon-McCartney sappy lovesong lyrics

Ramble On 1969
I ain't tellin' no lie!.
Mine's a tale that can't be told,
My freedom I hold dear;
How years ago in days of old
When magic filled the air,
T'was in the darkest depths of Mordor
I met a girl so fair,
But Gollem, and the evil one crept up
And slipped away with her!.
Her, her!.!.!.!.yea!.
Ain't nothing I can do, now!.

* Chorus
Gonna ramble on, sing my song
Gotta keep-a-searchin' for my baby!.!.!.
Gonna work my way, round the worldWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
WAS it actually their song, I think that you had better check!! Have you ever heard of the BLUES!?
But nevertheless ‘ZEP’ is one of my fav all time bands
As for Lennon/McCartney… their music was of their time!.!.
You need to understand that all music is a product of its time
Example – Glen Miller’s ‘In The Mood’ worked in the war years, would be lost on today’s generation
Example – buddy Holly’s ‘Peggy Sue’ worked for the emerging Teen self-realisation & awareness of 50’ early 60’s, would be lost on this generation!!!
In other words they were ‘MAGIC for their day’ they changed peoples feelings and perceptions of themselves and their circumstance

Please do not think that I mean any disrespect to you of course, in fact I wanna thank you for posing an interesting question
It is obvious that you have a deep love of music!. Good luck, keep listening!

Here are some tit-bit about Led Zep
Please, CHECK OUT 'Killing floor' - Howlin' Wolf!.!.!.!.

1!.In live shows, Led Zeppelin would perform rockabilly songs originally made famous by Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochran
2!."Houses Of The Holy" includes a reggae-influenced song,"D'Yer Mak'er"
3!.Live Led Zeppelin concerts would also include James Brown, Stax and Motown-influenced soul music and funk, as these were favourites of bassist John Paul Jones and drummer John Bonham!.
4!."Houses Of The Holy"'s song "No Quarter" is a jazz and blues-style jam!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do remember this song!. It's hard to tell whether the "girl" he's talking about is the One Ring or not!. I think the members of Led Zeppelin smoked a lot of pot, so sometimes their lyrics are a little weird ("Oh wow!.!.!.I was, like, readin' about this ring and stuff, and this far-out lizard that was tryin' to take it away!.!.!.let's put it in this song, y'know!?" "It's a love song, man!." "Far out! It'll work great!")!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This is a Led Zep song!. What does it have to do with Lennon and McCartney!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
