I can't seem to find the video you are talking about, which puts me back to my initial thought - there was a video for Fatboy Slim's "Praise You", which was done by Spike Jonze!. It was essentially Jonze and a group of "average joe" dancers, with a few hours of rehersal, going to a westwood movie theater, and among the crowd outside, playing "Praise You" on a boombox and doing their routine, all shot with an ordinary video camera (a theater manager even comes out midway and stops theboom box, but they start up again)!.
