Question: What are the best jazz guitar strings!?
I recently got a Yamaha AEX520 hollow-body electric guitar!. The strings it shipped with are not giving me that rich jazz tone!. I want to know what the best jazz guitar strings are!. preferably i would like it if you could find me a site where I can buy them online!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree D'darrio are one of the most consistent and fairly-priced strings!. You need to decide if you want regular electric round wound strings that have a punchier and brighter sound!. I use these on solid and semi-hollow models!. But I flat wound strings on my hollow body jazz guitar!. They do not squeak when you slide up and down, feel a little like thick noodles and have a warm tone!. One thing to remember is that every player is different and depending on your touch, amp, guitar and settings, you'll get a distinct sound!. Given that, you may need to experiment and try some different strings!. I also use Elixir nano-coated strings on my solid body guitars, don't care for GHS strings at all, loved a set of flat wound Pyramid strings I got for my hollow body (but the are handmade in Germany and cost too much) and generally find myself returning to D'adarrio!. They package them well- in a thin cardboard box with the strings wrapped in a plastic bag to maintain their fresh quality!. Their jazz strings are packaged differently but are also excellent quality!. You can sometimes get them cheaper if you buy by bulk- like 10 sets!. I often use this site to buy strings, they are very good!.
