Does anyone else have a problem with playing piano due to having short fingers?!
Question: Does anyone else have a problem with playing piano due to having short fingers!?
I can't play four-note chords many times if they are spaced too far apart!. I have to stretch my hands many times before my fingers can finally reach the notes!. And, even with that, my hands frequently hurt from being stretched so much!.
As a last resort, I frequently just have to change the chord to a three note or emit a grace note that is too far above or below the chord!.
This isn't a new problem!. I've been playing piano for years, just thought I would grow out of this problem!. Never did!.
Has anyone else had to deal with this!? Suggestions!? Ideas!?
Thanks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have short fingers, and that's why I chose the piano to play at first, vs!. the guitar!. (Now I play both!.)
Admittedly, I have much better luck on synthesizers without weighted keys, as well as piano instruments with smaller keys, such as the accordion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
