also, after seeing Opeth thrown around on here alot I checked them out and decided I kinda liked them!. I'll have to download some stuff as I've only heard them off of youtube!. Thanks to those who talked about them!. I haven't picked up a new metal band in quite sometime!.

What gets to me about SOME of the Metal crowd is the pretentious elitists BS!.
MOstly amongst the Black Metal crowd!.!.!.!. but there are dfinitely some in every Genre of it!.
Get the attitude that if you don't listen to Underground (insert genre here) Metal!.!.!.you are a poser!.!.!.etc!.
Sh*t!.!.!.!.!. the whole reason I've been headbanging for 24 years was because MEtal is about INDIVIDUALISM!.
The sad part part is these tools don't realize that the the only difference between them and the Goths and the Emo kids is the music they listen too!. They are just as pathetically silly!. Lemmings!.!.!.!.!. who want everyone else to be Lemming too!.
Lose the Corpse Paint!.!.!.!.write ORIGINAL music (which some bands DO!.!.!.!.!.) and respeect other's tastes!.
Oh!.!.!.and the seemingly mandatory feeling a lot of "MetalHeads" have where it is mandatory to be anti-christian!.!.!.pro-pagan/Lucifereanism!.!.!. a joke!. I was into that crap before most of these kids could even spell metal!.

The "metal-er than thou" attitude of some of the metalheads I've had the misfortune of dealing with!. My musical tastes are all over the place, but I mostly listen to metal!. There are a couple of bands that I just can't get into that apparently you have to LOVE in order for these people to consider you a "true" metalhead!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Which metal!? Mine or yours!? Newer so called "Extreme" (shyeah right) metal!? Let's see - about 5 million bands still trying to perfect that way lame non-musical scream / shout thing , and every guitarist having to inject that "Stolen from Zakk Wylde" low E string pinch harmonic in every 8 bars of a verse!. S'okay though, the more idiots that clamour for that crap, the more i will stand out from the pack as a guitarist!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
my main gripe is that they dont really play any real metal on the radio!. (fob and mcr dont count kids!.) that and they never incorporate bands from europe (helloween, primal fear, nightwish, etc!.) on the radio either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't mind metal, but some for some bands its hard to understand the lyrics, so songs start sounding more and more alike!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
