Answers:
Because i think its the best way to expose new talent!. Im not going to just randomly go into a store and by any old cd without hearing it first!. With downloading you can sample the bands music and see if its really your thing!. also if someone has originally bought the cd and has put it up for download, that should not be illegal because after all they bought it, its their property now and can do anything they want with it!. Finally, concerts is where the band makes the most money, and how do you bring more people to concerts!? get your music heard! best way to do that!? have the music downloadable!. They will make more money from tours and merch!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, back in the day of the cassette tape, we teenagers recorded all kinds of songs directly from the radio!. We didn't care about a 'pure sounding' copy!. We just wanted our music on demand!. I think it is no different with teenagers today (I have a 15 year old)!. Kids share their music!. That's what kids do!. I say, go after the illegal bootleggers!. The down-loaders who resell their music for a fee/profit!. They are the criminals, not the kids!.

The difference today is in the technology!. Today it is a lot easier to record pure copies of songs and videos from the Internet and often they are duplicated and sold illegally for profit!. This is the music industry's main complaint, really!.

People are going to download music!. Period!. Right now the RIAA is focusing on the people who offer their music files for uploading!. The law is:

"If you make digital copies of copyrighted music on your computer available to anyone through the Internet without the permission of the copyright holder, you’re stealing!. And if you allow a P2P file-sharing network to use part of your computer’s hard drive to store copyrighted recordings that anyone can access and download, you’re on the wrong side of the law!. "

what is the difference between downloading songs from the computer or copying them from the radio!.!.!.!.!.and for me most of the songs I download I have already on record albums , cassette tapes and 8 track tapes, I just down have the programs to transfer them to the computer so I can put them on a CD ,Www@Enter-QA@Com

People will argue that the consumer shouldn't have to pay so much for music!.

I say feed the artists and make the money line straighter!. The RIAA is the problem!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
