I'm 45 and did not listen to Rick Astley on purpose!. Hew was overplayed to the point of annoyance in the lat 1980s!. If you are in your 30s your were born between 1978 and 1969!. In the late 1980s you would have been 8 (b!.1978, 1985) and and about 16!.

At the older of those ages you had more control of what you listened to!. You would not listen ti the radio stations that played Rick Astley or watch the videos (he had a really big head in relation to his body)

I heard him at work, at the clubs and at peoples, usually women,houses!.
