Amanda Somverville (This is Simone from Epica's vocal coach!. She doesn't have her own band as far as I know, but she's done backing vocals for bands like Epica, Kamelot, and Edguy!. She was on a concept album called Aina: Days of Rising Doom and she is currently touring with Epica, filling in for Simone while she is sick!.)
also check out Ayreon, a project by Arjen Lucassen (Stream of Passion founder) that features a mixture of both male and female vocals, but includes lots of singers from bands you like including Floor from After Forever!.
If you do like the heavier female-fronted metal, here are a few that fall more into that area:
Doro and/or Warlock - Doro Pesch is my personal absolute favorite female frontwoman of all time!.
