Musically I don't really know it is basically a standard rock song i would guess!. There is nothing special about the lyrics that can be detailed in the nomenclature of literary studies!.
Personally I find the song to be not a cut above or below say!.!.!.average!. The melody is dull and uninspired and the words are jejune at best!. But that is just me!.
