Rap music is honest music!. It speaks brutally honest about how it is in the "streets" and people that have never lived that life will never understand!.

I really do not see how rap music contributes to crime!. First and for most, rappers who rap about violence rhyme about their experiences growing up in the ghetto, which more than likely was violent!. Rap music has become an easy scapegoat for all the problems that parents are not able to solve!. If their kid smokes weed, gets into a fight, steals something!.!.!.etc!.!.!., they blame it on rap!. However, in reality, their kid only did what he/she did because of the lack of parental control!. Rock (Heavy metal!?) music has plenty of violent things to say (even worst that rap in some cases) and I don't hear anyone complaining about it!. I also think it somewhat has to do with racism!. It's almost unacceptable for a black man to say something derogatory!. But if a white man says the same thing, many people, including parents, give him the benefit of the doubt!. Overall, rap music has slowly become a scapegoat!. also, the people who listen to it have the freedom and capability to change the radio station or not listen to it if not comfortable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Rap music, movies, magazines, ANY form of entertainment can influence teenagers!.!.!. Or anyone that is weak minded for that matter!.
