Not sure about the hair, but the rest of the description sounds like Ben Folds!. In the 90's he led the Ben Folds Five (actually a trio), though the band broke up around '99; a couple years ago he released a solo CD "Songs for Silverman"!. Hope that helpsWww@Enter-QA@Com
